My condolences to Susan and families on Joan's passing. I was a co-worker of Joan's at Queens University for many years. We went through many years of life experiences some joyous and some very difficult but Joan always dealt with them in her quiet, compassionate way. Susan you were the light of her life as were her grandbabies and I'm sure has left you all my happy memories. Even though we only saw each other briefly in the past years in the mall, I will always remember you as a kind and compassionate friend. RIP my friend.
