Obituary of David Goldie

James David Goldie

March 20, 1937 – June 17, 2025

It is with heavy hearts but also with love and gratefulness for a wonderful life lived that we share the peaceful passing of Dave. No longer suffering the frustrations of Alzheimer’s Disease.

Left to mourn his loss, until they meet again, his wife of 65 years, Gail. Dad is missed by Laurie & Dan Shorey, Kerri & John Brockman, Carla & Scott Van Camp and Warren & Tracey Goldie. Loving Poppy to David, Angela, Craig, Cortney, Kalen, Dustin, Chelsea, Alexa and Garrett and 11, soon to be 12, great grandchildren. Dave was the protective big brother of Betty Jane (Brad) Berry and Susan (d. Leonard) Atherton and his three nieces. Reunited with his parents, whom he missed deeply, Jim and Dorothy Goldie.

The family would like to thank, and are grateful to, Dr. Goldhar for his care and guidance, along with the wonderful and caring staff of Limestone Ridge.

Cremation has taken place, and the internment will be Wednesday, June 25 at 10:30 at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, 2563 Perth Road, Glenburnie.
