Obituary of Diane Joan Rosetta Amey

 

 

Diane Amey         

Jan. 22, 1939 - Jun. 25, 2025

Peacefully at Helen Henderson Care Centre. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary Thompson, her sister Mary and her son Michael (Carol).  Survived by her loving husband Jim and children Debbie (Alex), Terry (Sue), Kenneth, Brian (Christine), Richard, Chris and Kim (Marvin), sisters Patricia, Susan (Don) and Linda (Andrew). She will be remembered fondly by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Special thanks to all of the staff of Helen Henderson Care Centre but especially reception 3.  Dementia has made the last few years more difficult but you made sure that Diane had many happy times there.  That meant a great deal to us.

 

Diane always wanted to help people and even in death, she will continue to do that.  She chose to donate her body to science, so that future generations will benefit and learn from her.
