Obituary of Sharon Joan Gagne

 

GAGNE, Sharon Joan (nee Easter) -

Registered Nurse

Sharon passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2025 with her husband of 60 years by her side, George.  Predeceased by her son, Paul.  She is survived by her sister-in-law, Priscilla Toomey; nephew, John Toomey and her nieces, Kimberly Toomey and Dawn Toomey.  She is predeceased by her parents, Duane and Doris Easter, her parents-in-law, John and Ruby Gagne and her brother-in-law, Pat Toomey.  Sharon was a graduate of Brockville General Hospital School of Nursing class of 1964.  Sharon and George both retired early and travelled the world, they took 30 cruises and visited every state and province.  Their last cruise in March completed their bucket list.  At Sharon’s request there will be no service and cremation has taken place.  Her cremated remains will be interred in the family plot in Brockville.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in memory of Sharon may be made to the Kingston Humane Society or to UHKF (Providence Care – AB Smith Homestead House).  Online memories and condolences may be left at www.cataraquicemetery.ca
