Obituary of Amanda Lynn Mundell
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Mundell, on July 7th, 2025. A woman whose grace, beauty, and compassion touched every life she encountered. Her presence was magnetic, her energy filled rooms with rays of sunshine, and her heart impossibly wide and giving. Amanda was a gift to this world, and losing her has left unimaginable holes in the lives of everyone who loved her.
Amanda was the loving wife of Blair (Gagne), a partner with whom she shared a life of love, strength, and unity. They balanced each other out perfectly: she with her bright energy and larger than life personality, and he with his strength, steadiness, and quiet support. At the center of Amanda’s heart was her family - especially her children. Her love for Zack and Madi was infinite and fierce. She knew their hearts, championed their dreams, and showed them what unconditional love truly looks like. Zack and Madi were her greatest joys, her world, her everything.
But Amanda’s love story began long before marriage and motherhood. She was the beloved daughter and best friend of Eva and Gary, with whom she shared a bond that was profoundly special and deeply rooted in love, trust, and mutual admiration. Amanda was not just their daughter, she was their sunshine, their laughter, and one of their greatest accomplishments in life.
She was the loving sister to Sherry (Gord), and carried her late sister Berlynda (Brett) in her heart. She was also the best aunt to her nieces and nephews; Krissy, Matt, Josh, and Samantha. Amanda will be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, coworkers and friends.
Amanda’s legacy is not measured in years, but in love. It will live on powerfully through Zack and Madi, who carry her spirit, her strength, and her kindness within them. It will live on in the countless connections she made throughout her life - in the family she held close, the friends she uplifted, and in all of the lives she touched with her compassion and light. Everyone who knew Amanda will forever carry a piece of her in their heart, and in that way, she remains forever present. She was, and always will be, a light that lives on.
A small private service will be held in her honour at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in Amanda’s memory.
