Time Will Ease the Hurt
By Bruce Wilmer
The sadness of the present days
Is locked and set in time,
And moving to the future
Is a slow and painful climb.
But all the feelings that are now
So vivid and so real
Can’t hold their fresh intensity
As time begins to heal.
No wound so deep will ever go
Entirely away;
Yet every hurt becomes
A little less from day to day.
Nothing else can erase the painful
Imprints on your mind;
But there are softer memories
That time will let you find.
Though your heart won’t let the sadness
Simply slide away,
The echoes will diminish
Even though the memories stay.

My favourite memory of aunt Kuki was when I was 15 or so, and we traveled together to Toronto to see Miss Saigon at the Princess of Wales theatre.
I wanted desperately to see the show, and my parents weren’t real theatre goers, but Aunt Kuki shared my love of theatre and was happy to take me.
It was such a special trip to me, and I’m so grateful I was able to experience it with her.

Well it is hard to believe that we have had to say goodbye to another sister ..we have shared so many years of memories together as the lucky 7 sisters..we were never alone going through life's challenges we bonded and became one team..we got together to celebrate many special occasions and family functions..family is and was very important to all of us .. you always met a challenge head on with strength and determination even to the very end..I am sure Mom,Dad,June,Marilyn, Shirley, Julie and Mark were all there to greet you with open arms ..but we are all going miss you here.. FOOT PRINTS Lord you said that once I decided to follow you we would walk side by side through life.but when I needed you the most I saw only one set of footprints in the sand..The Lord replied "I love you and would never leave you.During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you " we all love you the super sisters..

I didn't know Berniece for long, only about three years, but am missing her presence for sure. The continuous efforts and hard work she put in for all of us at 6 Charlotte Place, will never be fully realised by most. She believed strongly in protecting our interests in this building...and she did a great job.
Berniece was a lovely lady, and I was very sorry to see what she had to endure these last few months. She certainly deserves to rest in peace, and I just wanted to say that I'm glad to have known her!
