Leaving behind with much love are nieces, nephews and their families, and wonderful friends and neighbours.
Berniece was a determined individual that led by example hosting a very impressive career as a Nurses Assistant, successful business owner, manager for not-for-profit and one of the first women inducted into Kiwanis in Eastern Ontario. She believed in educating herself and continued to take courses even after she retired. She also loved to travel.
Anyone who knew Berniece can give you an example of their heartfelt connection; tell you of her love for people and animals alike. She was caring, had a great sense of humour and a tremendous dedication to her family. Berniece was not only a great listener but would offer sound advice you could always trust.
There will never be another lady quite like her and until we meet again … we love you more and miss you so very much already! XOXO
We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. G. Ashe and Michelle Whitmore RN, for their compassion and attentiveness that helped mom transition from our world into God’s hands.
Respecting Berniece’s wishes, the cremation has taken place and we will forgo a formal service. Friends and family will gather together on August 26, 2025 at the Keystorm Pub (private room), 2 Courthouse Avenue, Brockville, ON from 4-6pm.
In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate in Berniece’s memory to one of the many organizations that deal with Peripheral Artery Disease or if you prefer, a pet rescue agency.
