Obituary of Dwight Arthur Cota

At home after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Dwight Arthur Cota, passed away at the age of 74. 

Dwight lived in Sharbot Lake for his first 12 years. The family then moved to Kingston, where he spent the rest of his life.

Dwight was the best friend and partner of Joyce Stafford-Cota. Beloved father of Penny (John), Darryl (Heather), step-father of Paul (Jen) and Michael. Dearly loved grandpa of Shayne, Zachary, Katey, Aby, Kiersten, Ben and Tom.

He was predeceased by his parents Hillyard and June Cota and sister Judy (Tom). He is survived by his brother Duane, sister Jeanette (Dave) and many family and friends.

Dwight worked for many years as an auto body mechanic. Since his retirement, he spent his winters in Florida with Joyce and his dog Zoe, where he enjoyed the ocean and warm weather.

There will be a celebration of life announced in the Fall.
