To Gail, Family Members & Friends,
The members of the Canadian Forces Supplementary Radio (SUPRAD) System Oldtimers Association were saddened by the news of John’s passing. During his successful and impressive 17 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, (2000-2017), as a member of the Communicator Research family, he made many good friends. The knowledge and skills that John acquired as an Electronics Warfare (EW) operator / analyst were shared with his students, when he became a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Specialist Instructor at the Canadian Forces School of Communication and Electronics (CFSCE) Echo Squadron in Kingston. We sincerely thank John for his dedication, professionalism and loyalty in giving back to his military occupation and for his service to Canada. Please know Gail, that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. God Bless. John 3:16.

Gail, with a sad heart I'm sorry for your loss. John was a kind and loving man. Always putting others first. He was your dependable rock, and there for you when you needed him. He faced his cancer diagnosis with the same brave attitude that he did during his nearly two decades of service to our country.
John is in the loving arms of God right now, and still looking out for you.
John you will be missed, and that proves the kind of good person you truly were.
Gail, you're not alone. You have a whole community who loves and cares for you. Love you, Gary.

Gail, I am so sorry to have heard of John's passing. John was an awesome friend who would help a person out who needed it.
One of greatest memory if John (and you of course) was being asked to MC your wedding. That was a fun night.
Agai. Sorry for your loss.

Scott you did a wonderful job as MC at our wedding ! John always spoke highly of you and enjoyed the time you were his boss. I remember you visiting us in Colorado where John made one of his steak suppers for you and the others visiting and I remember sharing a bottle or three of wine amongst us.. good memories my friend !

My darling John thank you for 18 wonderful years of being in my life.. we certainly shared lots of experiences together and there is no one else that I would have wanted to share my life with through the good and bad times. You have always been my rock as I was yours. My happiest moment is when you asked me to be your wife. It was an honour calling you my husband. I was always so very proud of you. You are missed beyond words. You were very courageous and brave till the end. RIP my darling John, my love till we meet again.. I love you Gail❤️
