Ret’d Purser – Amherst Island Ferry

Jan. 23, 1942 – Aug. 29, 2025

 

Bob passed away peacefully, at Kingston General Hospital on Friday, August 29, 2025.  Predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Dianna; his parents Nicolas and Margaret (nee Lahay); his son, Peter and his brothers Bill and Jim.  He will be sadly missed by his eldest son, David (Diane) and youngest son, Mike (Alison); baby sister, Patsy (Jerry); grandchildren, Tyler, Bobby and Chase; nieces, nephews and friends.  In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held on Amherst Island.  As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in memory of Robert may be made to the Amherst Island Community Medical Clinic.
