Obituary of James Martin Leeder

 

JAMES LEEDER

 

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of James Leeder – a son, grandson, brother, and father – whose life was marked by complexity, courage, and love.

 

Born on January 14, 1992, alongside his twin brother Michael, James was raised by his grandparents, Guy and Margret Leeder.  Their steady presence and unconditional love guided him from childhood into adulthood.

 

James was the cherished son of Elizabeth Leeder, and a brother to Michael, Mary, Lydia (predeceased), Sarah, and Katie.  Though words were sometimes few, James’ love for his siblings ran deep and loyal.  He carried that love quietly, but fiercely. 

 

He was also the father of two daughters, Sadie and Ella.  Though their connection was distant, his girls were his world.  He spoke of them often and held hope and joy for their future close to his heart.

 

James’ life was not without struggle, but he carried a profound capacity for love – especially for his family.  His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
