Obituary of Carol Ann Fraser

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carol Fraser (nee Monnon), in her 71st year. She passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born June 28, 1955, in Ottawa, Ontario, Carol was a loving wife and best friend to Dave Fraser for 51 years. She was the cherished mother of Brian Fraser (Nikki) and Kevin Fraser (Michelle), and beloved grandmother to Blair, Jade, Justin, and Lucas. She is predeceased by her mother, Marion Monnon, and is survived by her father, Richard Monnon, and her brother, Bill Monnon (Suzanne).

An avid crafter, she loved working on sewing, knitting, or quilting activities, as well as her newfound fondness of stained glass projects. She loved spending her winters in Florida, going for walks, line dancing, and playing mahjong with friends. Her kindness, generosity, and warmth, will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A private family interment will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery. A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Royal Kingston Curling Club (130 Days Road, Kingston) from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Kingston General Hospital, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
