Robert (Bob) Andrew Gordon –
1938 – 2025
It is with great love, and deep affection, that I Joanne, his wife, nicknamed by him as “sunshine” announces the passing of Robert on Friday, October 3, 2025, peacefully at Providence Care Hospital at 1:15am. Resting place Cataraqui Cemetery.
Robert, loving father and grandfather, is survived by his eldest son, Barry of Kingston and his daughter, Susanne (James) Gordon of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Robert is predeceased by his son, Wayne. Grandpa to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Loving stepfather of Brad (Beverly) Baker. Special mention to “Crallick”, black and white Alaskan Malamute Service Dog. Loving step-grandfather Opa of Broghan and the late Bryce. Loving lolo of Brad-Charles. Dear son-in-law of the late Gloria and Jim Street. Dear son of the late Ronald and Ivy (nee Pearce) Gordon.
Dear brother, to my sisters, and eldest brother, the late Joan & Len Whiteford, Florence “Floss” (the late Borge), Phyllis (William) Fraser, the late Carol Ruckstaul, Linda (the late Rick) and the late Donald & Clemence Gordon. Special mention to James Gordon, all nieces, nephews & very good friends, for the memories. A special mention to Rudy & Cherie Gazarek, Peter Farrance, Melanie Babcock, Sheryl Gabriel, Olivia Simpson, Kim Burke, Osvalda Medeiros, and family friend, Brett.
Also, to the care team, your kindness made a difference, and your thoughtfulness touched our hearts. Alzheimer’s Society, Exceptional! Sarah Winkelman, success will follow your programs. The team and men’s group all have contributed to a worthy program, instrumental in giving Alzheimer’s patient's hope, friendship, something special to look forward to, and be part of a place Robert loved.
