John George Kinnear

On January 22, 2026, in his 79^th year, passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospice. John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Ingrid and son Greg (Amy), daughter Leslie and grandchildren Ryan, Madelyn, Sadie and Jackson, and many great friends!

John was a retired Kingston firefighter, an avid sports enthusiast, golfer, jokester and my best friend.

A public Celebration of John's Life will be held at the Portsmouth Tavern (96 Yonge Street, Kingston) on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Guests are invited to drop in or stay. A private family interment will take place in the future.
