Obituary of Gary George Veley

Gary passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in his 79^th year.  He will be missed by his wife, Diane; his children, Sandra Veley (Norman), Shari Duff (Mike), Cindy Huge (Tom) and Sean Veley (Rhonda); his step-children, Paul (Christine) Arsenault and Richard Arsenault and his many grandchildren.  Survived by his brother, Kenny Veley and predeceased by his brother, Wayne Veley (Nita).

Gary was in his second term as President with the Royal Canadian Legion Limestone City Branch 560, he will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the main hall at the Royal Canadian Legion Limestone City Branch 560, 734 Montreal Street, Kingston from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

A private family interment will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery at a later date.
