In Loving Memory of Deborah Lanora Walker

February 18, 1955 – June 25, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Walker, who passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital, June 25th, 2026, at the age of 71.

Deborah (also known as Ma) was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and had a warm heart that touched everyone who knew her. She loved spending time tending to her garden, playing pool, and never missed an episode of the Young and the Restless. One of her greatest companions was her beloved dog, Foxy, who brought her endless comfort and happiness.

More then anything, Deborah cherished her family. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her husband Lorne of 42 years, her children Nicole (Lenny), Christopher (Charity), Brandy (Bobby); and her treasured grandchildren Chelsey, Shelbie, Sarah, Skyler, Ezekiel, Ethan and Elisabeth, who brought immense pride and joy to her life. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother Randy, her sister Darlene (Rodney), her aunt Laura (Jack), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and all whose lives she touched with her kindness and caring spirit. Deborah is predeceased by her parents Beverley and Carl, her brother Terry, her sister Gail and her daughter Michelle.

Deborah’s love, strength, and gentle nature will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Although she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain with her family forever.

The family extends thanks to the numerous health care providers involved in Deborah’s care over the years, with special thanks to Kidd 2 ICU, Kidd 7, and the Renal unit.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cataraqui Cemetery and Funeral Services. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 13^th, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Golden Links Hall, 4186 Colebrook Rd, Harrowsmith, Ontario. Immediately following, family and friends are invited to gather at Ma and Pa’s house, 4379 Notre Dame St., Harrowsmith, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation – Kingston Health Sciences Centre Renal Unit.
