Colours

Monuments and markers are typically made of granite and available in a variety of colours.    Our staff are trained  to assist you in finding the ideal colour to match the design of your choice.  At Cataraqui Cemetery, we provide many styles, shapes, sizes and colours of monuments and markers.   Our onsite display and 85+acre  can provide inspiration and  can allow you to see first hand the many variations of colours (as well as sizes) that are available to you.    We will assist you in designing your memorial.     Bronze plaques and flat markers are also available. 

Granite, being a natural stone, is subject to "mother nature's" slight variations. and the colour of each is subject to regional availability.  For example, black granite is simply not found in Canada.  We wil inform you of the geographic  origin of the colour you select.   "Canadian" or "North American" colours are limited  and  some colours  must be imported from overseas.  Many of the colours are  inventoried by our network of Ontario based suppliers, ensuring  timely delivery and installation.   Each can be customized to be as unique as the family members they are intended to memorialize.
