Dear Clare - I feel so sad for you and your family. Our outstanding memory of Dave is the year you both came out to the Harrowsmith Canada Day in the Park celebration. Dave spent the hot day flipping hamburgers with Don out behind the canteen and keeping hydrated with the odd refreshment. Always good times with you two. I hope you're doing ok. Margaret

Dear Clare and all your family, It was with profound sadness that we learned of David's passing. The years pass too quickly but the memories endure forever and our memories are of a wonderful gentleman who loved his family and honoured his friends beyond all else. The few Navy cadets at the RMC back in our early days together were close and saw a lot of the world before each ventured off to new destinations. We enjoyed the class reunions and will cherish the times when we could get together. Please accept our love and deep condolences. Gail and Larry

to Clare and family so sorry to read of the passing of David. It was a pleasure to have worked with him in the field of law. He was competent and compassionate and those attributes in any field mark the person. He will be missed by far more than his family. May you all find comfort in his meaningful life

Good Day Clare. Very sorry to hear of your husbands passing. I also left a note on facebook but not sure you use it so opted for another. Well written the words above especially the word "unassuming".....I think it would be correct for 4 Rayner's using that word. Very quiet well spoken family. Once the coast is clear(pandemic) I'll give you a call. Take care.
