I wanted you to know Desmond how much I appreciated the meals that Margaret prepared for the bereavement group and you helped to deliver. Margaret was an excellent cook and so gracious with those in the group and I very much appreciated all that she did. I realized it was difficult to have to bring the meal to my house but you two did it without complaining.I have lovely memories of the times I shared with Margaret and wish that I had written this before-but I think she knew how much I enjoyed her meals, company and generosity

To family of Margaret, We regret that Margaret has left us , but do know she will be a happy person and also know she looked forward to the next part of her life with the Lord. I met Margaret at the Seniors centre, many years ago. She was the experienced painter and I the new one on the street of painting. We had many talks on how to do procedures to know how to put different colours together. and many talks of Ireland, where she came from. Also Margaret and I would go to Music West at St. Andrews United Church, for a few years . and know others brought her too. We will miss her kind and thoughtful way. and her great wit. and laughter. Bless you Margaret, you are part of my circle of life here on earth. Till we meet again. Doreen

Hi Des, Sorry to hear about Margaret. She was a very generous lady. When we moved to Baie D'Urfe in 1971, she helped Gillian , with a 5 month old Geeta, a lot about living there. I am more than thankful to you for hiring me and allowing me to do my own things. Without your help, I would have worked in the metals industry, with far different results - not as attractive as in the paper industry. All the best. Ashok

Dearest Desmond and family: My deepest sympathy goes out to you all: Margaret was such a special person to me. I will never forget her or when she took it upon herself to write such a extraordinary review of my North Fredricksburg exhibition. She also was instrumental for starting me writing stories for KHS Limelight that led to a book. I will always remember my visits to there lovely home and her beautiful garden. You will be remembered always!
