Nancy, I attended one of the classes you ran at the rec center and had a great time. BEST of all I remember your time at Mallorytown, we went with the family last week to see the old site. I will always have a special place in my heart for the campground and all the fun we had growing up. Thank you for your kind words. Vicki

Dear Vicki: We were sorry to hear about your mom. My husband, Garry, and I will always remember Doreen. I attended 4 years at KCVI with your mom, and have good memories of a fine student and competitor in all the team sports we played together. It was always fun. Later on, Doreen used to come and help us in the accounting room at figure skating competitions, and she was always fun to work with and we could depend on her accounting skills. Most recently, we would see her in Gananoque when she went there for supplies. It was always a pleasure to meet her and spend a bit of time catching up. She was very proud of her family, and I think she was glad to have some time with her great-grandson, Hudson. She suffered some very real personal losses in her life, but she was always able to find a bright spot and had a great outlook. Garry and I will always remember Doreen with real fondness. Dear Vicki, Lawrence and family We are so sorry to read about your Mom,s passing. I had spoke to your Mom in September, we had a nice visit and I got caught up on all the family and what they were doing. I tried to phone you in Toronto, but I had the wrong number. Your Mom would drop in to visit when she was driving to Kingston and have a coffe and cookies with Gary and me. She loved the fresh baked cookies. I will miss our visits. Hope to hear from you when you have a chance Love old friends, Bev and Gary

Doreen was a dear, very generous friend for many, many years. Our families shared many happy summers camping at Mallorytown. Our children grew up together over the summers. Times together were always fun. Pass the Ace became a family card game which always reminded us of the great times together. We shall always remember Doreen with smiles and memories which only she could provide. Condolences to you Vicki and the family.

Vicki, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Dave and I first met your parents when they camped at Mallorytown Landing and we lived in the Superintendant's house. So good to see them each summer. I next met up with Doreen when she began to come to a Senior exercise class I was leading. She enjoyed the work out and the social side getting together for lunch and conversation. There will be many who will miss her. Nancy Warner
