Obituary of Ronald Sydney Miller

Peacefully passed away on Friday November 13, 2020 at the age of 85 after a brief illness. Survived by his brother John Henry Miller (Sandra) of South Carolina. Loving Uncle to Lisa Grimard (Gord) of Kingston & Shane Miller (Sarah) of North Bay. Loving Great uncle of Tasha van Asseldonk (Mike) of Brockville, Logan & Cross Grimard of Kingston, Alexis, Jacob, Hunter Miller, Abbie Miller-Elvish, and Noah McCarthy of North Bay. Loving Great, Great uncle of Noah & Mathieu van Asseldonk of Brockville. Predeceased by his parents Sydney and Emily (Rose) Miller and sister Joy Calder. Ron will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Ron’s family would like to take this moment to thank all the staff who cared for Ron at Kingston General Hospital, and to all the many services Homecare, Paramed and Smile Program who assisted Ron with quality of life support. A special thank you goes to Helen Henderson Long Term Care, the Gibson family and staff for the kindness, dedication and end of life care of Ron. As per Ron’s wishes, a private ceremony was held at graveside. In Ron’s memory a donation can be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
