Obituary of Douglas Michael Brown

Douglas Michael Brown, of Brandon, Manitoba, after a lengthy battle with cancer, passed away peacefully with extended family and friends by his side. Pre-deceased by his father and mother, Leonard G. Brown and Beverly J. Brown (Smith), and his sister Donna K. Brown. He will be sorrowfully missed by his two Aunts, Connie and Barbara out in Manitoba, and his two very special feline friends, Jenny and Gabby. Doug was a United Nations veteran, having served 24 years as an Administrative Clerk in the Canadian Forces. He was a proud member of the Matthew J. Dawe Memorial Legion Branch 631. There will be a private interment at the Cataraqui Cemetery at a later date, and, when possible, a Celebration of Life at Legion Branch 631, for family and friends.
