Obituary of Muriel Jean McCowan

Born July 22, 1926 in Glasgow, Scotland. Muriel passed away December 7, 2014 in Kingston, Ontario. Muriel immigrated to Canada in 1953. Since then, she has lived all over Canada, settling in Gananoque for 10 years. Beloved Mum of Joyce Harris (the late Chuck Webb), Barbara Winkler (Paul) and the late Gregg McCowan. Cherished Grandma of Patrick (Brenda), Daniel, Alexandra (Brandon), Rhea (Craig) and Pamela (Sam). Adoring Gigi of Kassandra, Emily, Darren, Laura, Owen, Ryley and Emmett. A Memorial Service to celebrate Muriel’s life will be held at Cataraqui United Church (965 Sydenham Rd., Kingston) on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.. If you so desire, donations in memory of Muriel may be made to the Diabetes Association. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
