Obituary of Shane Timothy Hennessy

Surrounded by love, on the morning of September 29, our beloved Tim gently passed away with his wife and daughter by his side. He bore his illness with the same grace, sweetness, and patience that made him the most wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, confidant, and for which he will be greatly missed. Tim leaves behind his wife Dore, daughter Twyla, sister Diana, brothers Michael (Leslie) and Terence, nephew Brendan, stepmother Diana, parents-in-law Joe and Joanna, and sisters-in-law, Rita, Annette, Marianne, Tina, Cindi and Monique and their spouses, and nieces and nephews. We have been blessed with the love of family who have been on this journey with us.We are so grateful for the love and support of our friends. All who knew Tim are truly bereft. We thank Dr. Mikhael and Alison Adams for their dedication to Tim’s well-being and their love and encouragement, Dr. Jonah Marek for sitting vigil with us during a difficult night, and Dr. Karen Whalen Browne who so kindly visited Tim at home.
