Obituary of Marion Agnes Price-Jones

In her 84th year, passed away peacefully with her daughter Sharon by her side. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends. Marion was proud of her family's accomplishments. Among these, she was a graduate of Queen's University as were her parents, brother, sister- in-law, and her children. Many in the family hold degrees and certifications from other institutions, in diverse specialties. Daughter of the late Dr. Eldon and Eleanore Boyd, predeceased by her brother Dr. Carl Boyd. She is survived by her sister-in-law Jean Boyd (sons Mike and Carl); her children Shelley, Sharon (George), Greg (Laurel), and Ron (Steve); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. As a career elementary teacher, her many skills were appreciated by her students in Melfort, Saskatchewan and Belleville, Ontario. Marion retired to her hobby farm in Prince Edward County, eventually moving back to the family home that her grandfather helped build in Kingston. She enjoyed life there and her visits from family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Kristin and Mike, to all the kind people who helped Marion over the years, and especially to the caregivers of Quality Care Health Services. A small graveside service was held, with plans for a celebration of life in 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in her name would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
