I was shocked to hear of Gord’s passing.
My sincere condolences go out to his family.
I worked with Gord at Royal Insurance in the 70’s.
He put thumbtacks on my office chair and turned off the lights whenever I was in the washroom, so I experienced his humour.
I was fortunate to reconnect with him over coffee last year.
I was hoping to golf with him this summer but that wasn’t to be.
RIP Gord.

Gord taught me how to ride my uncle’s bike which was way too big for me. He’d get me on the bike and give me a shove and I’d ride on the driveway at 601 Earl until I crashed . And then we’d do it over again until I could ride. He had the coolest bike around with hand brakes and gear shits. We were good friends until he moved to Ernestown. My condolences to his family...he was a really nice person and a best bud. Jim Boyd, Creemore, Ontario

So sorry to hear about Gordon's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Gordon at Molly Maid and will remember his gentle touch and of course, his fashion sense. He always had a kind word, positive outlook and desire to help. Barbara, our thoughts go out to you and to your family. Both Tracey and I will fondly remember Gordon.

I have so many good memories of my brother dating back over 70 years and I will always cherish them. He was a kind and loyal brother with a great sense of humour and as I told him, I would not have traded him for any other brother. I find it hard to think of my world without him in it. Although I lived on the West Coast, modern technology allowed us to keep in frequent contact. I will miss his e-mails with updates on his family, his garden and his golf, complete with photos.
We were able to get back East to see Gord recently and I’m so glad we did. It was a great comfort to me to see the love and the care his family were giving him - he couldn’t have asked for better. They were wonderful and I will always be grateful to each and every one of them. He will be greatly missed by all of them, especially “his Barbie”.
Rest In Peace, Gord. I will miss you but you will always be in my heart.
Your “favourite” sister,
Diane
