Obituary of John Carl Lawlor

Jack Lawlor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 at the Aspira Waterford Kingston Retirement home at the age of 87.  Jack was born on July 30^th, 1935 in Napanee Ontario.

Loved son and predeceased by parents Joe and Hazel (Berry) Lawlor. Jack was much loved husband of 65 years to Rosie, who predeceased him on July 26, 2022.

Jack is predeceased by four siblings (Linda, Lyle, Glen, Helen) and is survived by siblings Leo and Fern.

Jack was the proud and much loved father of Mary-Jo, John (Linda) and Jason (France).  Jack will be missed and remembered by his 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters and brother’s in law as well as many friends.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the Waterford Retirement Residence in Kingston for their exceptional care of Jack in his final months.

A grave side ceremony will be held on Friday August 19^th at 11 am at the Cataraqui Cemetery in Kingston for all who wish to attend.

A celebration of life reception is being held at James Reid Funeral home in Kingston on August 19th, 2022 from 12-2pm.  All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jack’s memory may be made to the Kingston Food Bank.
