Uncle Michael, you will be sorely missed. The words of the service rang so true "soaked in love". When you spoke of your family; when you expressed your pride in your grandchildren; when you shared your growing up tales, when you talked about your adventures around the world, love ran through it all. You were larger than life to us as children, a traveller with great tales to tell. You were larger than life to us as adults, with your love for us all. Even though you are in God's house now, you leave a great hole in many lives and my heart goes out to all your family and friends. May their memories bring some comfort. Thank you for being a man to look up to and a wonderful and entertaining Uncle.

Uncle Michael was generous and great company over the times we were together with family. These family dos brought us all together in celebration. We have many happy memories of him, both enjoying his company and of him enjoying the company of others. He was always interested and caring about how life was going. He shared with us and enjoyed telling a good story to keep us all hooked. We will raise a toast in celebration of his life. And we are sending all our love to you aunty Frances, Pam & Steve and family, and Paul & Angela, at this time of great loss. Rest in Peace uncle Michael xxx

Uncle Michael was a very kind, funny and caring man. It was always brilliant to see Uncle Michael and Auntie Frances when they visited Glasgow. They were a lovely couple and always great company. Uncle Michael was an enthusiastic, animated story teller and I loved listening to his tales of when he, Auntie Frances, Auntie Theresa and Uncle John, and Mum and Dad socialised together, back in the day. I can see him gesturing and hear him laughing as he described their shenanigans. Mum loved her trips to Canada with her sis, Catherine, and enjoyed Auntie Frances and Uncle Michael's warm welcome, hospitality and company. Thinking of you all and sending love. Rest in Peace, Uncle Michael. xx
