Obituary of Nancy Lillian Freeman

It is with heavy hearts that Nancy Lillian Freeman (nee Kirkpatrick)’s family announce her passing on December 12, 2023 at Trillium Care, after a long hard battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Beloved wife of the late J. I. (Barney) Freeman and step-mother to the late John Freeman. Nancy was raised in Battersea, a member of a large family, pre-deceased by her parents, Archie and Lillian Kirkpatrick and her sisters Betty and Joyce. She will be sadly missed by her 5 sisters, Alice, Willena, Marion, Wendy, Rosemary, and 4 brothers, Bill, Doug, Frank, and Glen. She will be sadly missed by her adopted daughter Denise Stockley and her husband Andre Bouchard and their children Merralees and Mason. She leaves her step-daughter Barbara Chee and her children Michael, Carolyn, Robert, and William to mourn. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 19^th at 1:30pm at the Cataraqui Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office, 927 Purdy’s Mill Road, for 1:15pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Kingston General Hospital Foundation or the Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
