Sandra was a light in the community. I didn't know her well, but was always happy to run into her. On behalf of friends at the Ban Righ Centre, I wish the family and friends peace at this time.

The featured picture of Sandra is just perfect. It reflects her intelligence, her impishness and her kindness. I met Sandra back in the late 80's as a young travel agent booking trips for she and David. The following decades brought us together in other more social ways including yoga and meditation events. She was always just a young person to me. I'm grateful to have known her and sorry I didn't take the opportunity to spend more time with her. Gone but most definitely not forgotten. Thanks for the great memories Sandra. Godspeed.

She was an important friend of my Mother's - they were members of the same poetry circle for many years. I wish I had got to know her better. I really liked Sandra, she was always so welcoming, kind and interesting. Sandra was important. Kingston will not feel the same place without her.

Sandra was a dear friend, the kind of woman who only ever brought me joy even when she was feeling miserable. Her ability to laugh...at life and herself (and me!)...was something I marveled at and will always be inspired by. She was such a big and beautiful presence in my life, and in her community I know. My sincere condolences to Mike and Andrew, their partners, Sandra's grandchildren who she so cherished, and to all her close friends. I will be holding you all in my heart as you move through the layers of your loss. ❤️

My sincere condolences to Sandra's family. Our family moved to Colborne in 2020, so only knew Sandra for a few years, but it was immediately clear that she was a bright light in the neighbourhood. She was a warm and kind neighbour and we all enjoyed our chats and run-ins with her a great deal.

I renovated Sandra and David’s house and have very fond memories of how gracious and friendly and kind Sandra was. Whenever I subsequently met her on the street I was always delighted and charmed by her wonderful smile and her happy spirit.

We were so sorry to hear of Sandra’s passing. She was a lovely lady and we so enjoyed visiting with her when she was staying at her cottage. We only saw her to wave to last summer, but had a nice visit in 2022. Great memories. We will miss her. The Pierces
