Obituary of Joyce Elaine Campbell

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Elaine Campbell, who passed at Kingston General Hospital on May 14, 2024, at the age of 79.

Joyce leaves behind her only child Jody Derue (Campbell), her grandchildren Hannah Iris Derue, Julia Elaine Derue and Ryley David Derue, as well as her siblings Betty, Connie and Donnie. Pre-deceased by her parents Nellie Rosemond (Clark) and Duncan Leroy Campbell, as well as her siblings Dave, Ben, Marge, Kay and Avis.

Joyce grew up in New Brunswick and made her way to Kingston, Ontario where she met the love of her life Mike at Queen’s University. She was the most kindhearted woman who put others needs before her own. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She will be terribly missed and loved forever.

As per Joyce’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date at the Cataraqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to Cataraqui Cemetery and Funeral Services.
