Obituary of Jeffrey David Brunke

December 3 1952 - September 29 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff Brunke - beloved son, father, brother and friend. Jeff passed away at Kingston General Hospital surrounded by love with family by his side.

Jeff is predeceased by his parents Terry and Elaine Brunke (nee Barber). He is survived by his siblings Christine Brunke and Steven Brunke, his children Teresa Landers (Jamie) of Ohio, Sarah Ryan (Justin) of Brockville and Lisa Bolling (Benjamin) of Kemptville. Jeff will be missed by his grandchildren Dalton,  Alexander, Braeden, Abbygail, Nicholas and Benjamin, nieces Margret and Kirsten and many friends.

Jeff will be remembered for his huge heart, his quick willingness to help others in need, his love of the outdoors, his love of music and his musical talent.

Special thanks to the staff at Bayshore Health Care (Amherstview) and ER staff at KGH for their care and support of Jeff and his family.

A very special thanks to Christine Brunke for her absolute love, devotion to and advocacy for Jeff in his final years. 

Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

God saw him getting tired and a cure was not to be

So he put his arms around him and whispered "Come to Me"

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer and saw him slowly fade away

Although we loved him dearly we could not make him stay

God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best
