I worked with Phyllis at KGH. She was wonderful to work with, had a great sense of humour, and made a great apple cake. She was a sweet lady.

It has taken a visit back to Mom's place to find the quiet needed to read these messages. Thank you for your love and support from that first day and always. Peter did a good thing, bringing us all together!

Phyllis was a wonderful person in so many ways and touched so many lives, but I have always been especially struck at what a devout Grandmother she was. She loved all her grandchildren very much and went well above and beyond to make every birthday, holiday and special event... well... special. My condolences to the grandchildren on the loss of their biggest cheerleader.

Dear family, It is a heavy heart that feels the loss of Phyllis. My condolences go out to you all. She was a beloved mother, sister and aunt. There will be time enough for sorrow, yet celebration of her life will be a joyous occasion filled with the happier, loving memories that continue to linger for the rest of our lives. Let us all be blessed to hold on to these precious moments as the sense of loss pales.

My sincerest condolences to Phyllis' family. Phyllis was a very special woman. She always made me feel as though I counted as a person. We seemed happy that we were so close in age and had graduated as nurses 3 years apart but across the country. Nurses do have a type of kinship. Love Marjorie

Phyllis was one of the kindest, most gentle and sincere ladies I have had the pleasure to meet in my lifetime. I loved her smile, her hugs and her genuine love for others. She told me that she had been a nurse in her working day and I am sure that she was the one who taught everyone in hospitals about having a great "bedside manner". We will miss her greatly as a friend, and as a much-loved member of St. Mark's Church family.

I was so sorry to hear of Phyllis passing. I felt Phillis and Don were my other Lasalle Boulevard parents. My memories of the hunting camp days with the Isbell family are without a doubt the fondest of them all. I'm saddened that I did not get to see her before she left us, but happy she will be reunited with Don. My condolences go out to Cathy, Sharron and their families.

Cathy, Sharon and Families We can't tell you how much Phyllis meant to our family. From our phone calls, to our visits, at her home and Peter's and Sharon's, we always had a wonderful time. One memory I'd like to share is the first time we met Phyllis and the Rose's at our home. Our youngest daughter was about 6 or 7 and as they pulled up in front of our house, our daughter ran outside exclaiming " our new grandma is here". And that was it, we were family from that day forward. We will miss her very much but will honour her with memories and stories and cups of tea. Love Kathy, Mike and family
