Obituary of James Adams Clinton
Jim died peacefully at Kingston General Hospital in his 90th year following a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean Audrey (nee Garred). Loving father to Donald (Lynn) of Ottawa, ON; Robert (Sue) of Sydenham, ON; Kathryn of Victoria, BC; and Stephen of Sydenham, ON. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Andrew, Megan (Nicholas), Sarah (Evan), Stephanie (John), Michelle (Eric), Alexandra, Danielle (Ilan), Garreth, Kristian, Patrick, Kayla and Eric, and his great grandchildren Emmeline, Adrian and Alicia. Dear brother to the late William (Cynthia), and Flora Ellen Ferguson (the late John). Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends. Jim was active up until his illness playing tennis at the Napier St. Tennis Club and pickle ball at the Seniors Centre on Francis Street and is remembered fondly by his many tennis and pickle ball partners. He lived a life of moderation and integrity which served him well for his almost 90 years….! He was loved and respected by all.A Celebration of Life will be held at Emmanuel United Church, 63 Factory Street, Odessa at 2 pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. In lieu of flowers donations to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation or the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area would be appreciate.
