We have known John for about 15 years. I (Henry) met John at the restaurant on the Island and struck up conversation one day. We shared a caring and compassion for animals. I helped him take off hay for his rabbits. My wife provided assistance for his dog when it became ill and just before John left the Island we provided a home for some of the cats at his place. We also took a few road trips to auction sales. John's carpentry skills are evident in cupboards that he built for us in our house and barn. Our deepest sympathies to John's family at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
