Obituary of Patricia Davidson

Age 86 years, a resident of Kingston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2015. at Providence Manor with family by her side. Patricia was born on April 22, 1929 to parents Richard and Cecilia Brown. She married the love of her life David Davidson and was married to him for 42 wonderful years. Throughout her life she worked as a training coordinator for the St. John’s Ambulance. She was awarded the St. John’s Ambulance Cross by the Governor General of Canada. Patricia was also a member of the Kinette Club of Cornwall. Patricia was a devout Catholic and attended St. Paul’s Catholic Church regularly before making Providence Manor her new home. She then attended Mass at the Our Ladies of Sorrow Chapel on a regular basis. Patricia is survived by her children Allan (Liz) of Long Sault, ON, Kevin Davidson of Lyndhurst, ON, Julia (Michael) of Yarker, ON and Douglas Davidson of Shannonville, ON and her grandchildren Rebecca (Philippe) of Aylmer, QC, Andrew of Kingston, ON, Miles of Yarker, ON and Emily of Yarker, ON. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at Providence Manor in the Our Lady of Sorrows Chapel (275 Sydenham Street Kingston, ON) on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later time. If friends so desire, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
