Obituary of J.L Randy Turpin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Randy Turpin, loving husband of Karen (Berger) Turpin, which occurred at Providence Care Hospital, Kingston Ontario, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the age of 76.Born in Bathurst, NB, Randy was the son of the late Ephrem Turpin, Maniwaki Quebec, and Loretta (nee Beaudreau) of Bathurst NB. Randy spent 32 years with the military Air Force Division and 10 years with US & S of Kingston. His other love, besides his family, was hockey, on many “Old Timers” leagues, and was heavily involved in minor league hockey, as a committee member, coach, referee, and “Dad” at the many bases (postings) across Canada.Besides his wife of 54 years, he leaves behind his son Bruce (Leah) of Chicago, and his daughter Dawn (Kingston) and their children Calder, Wren, Steffen, and Kaitlyn; his brothers Alban of B.C., Yvon and Edmond of Alberta, sister Jacqueline (Roger) of Quebec, and sister-in-law Marie-May Turpin of NB. Predeceased by Sister Therese and her husband Anthony Feser (AB). Will be missed by sisters-in-law (Trenton) Jane (Gary), Pauline (Alton), Janet (Rob), Janice (John) and “Eileen” and many nieces and nephews.Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid and travel restrictions, there will be no service at this time. Many thanks to the palliative care team of Providence Care Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
