Obituary of Jeannette Sorel

1933-2019 Surrounded by the love of her family Jeannette passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8th. Jeannette was fortunate to have two great loves in her life; being the beloved wife of the late John Sorel (1984), the father of her children, and of the late Michael Ascough (2018). Loving mother of Sandra (Richard), Jodie (Trevor), and Daniel. Proud grandmother of Jamie (Eric), Jessica (Scott), and Jody. Jeannette will also be remembered with fondness and love by members of the extended family in Thunder Bay, Hamilton, Anaheim, Henderson and the Ascough family, especially Richard (Mary-Lynne), Graham (Patty) and Peter (Irene). Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents Omer and Lillian (nee Witzel) Tremblay and her eldest sister and bingo partner, Doris Fitzmaurice. She is survived by her sister, Lola Tait, of Thunder Bay. As per Jeannette's wishes, a private family service will be held.
