Condolences to the family of Peter Carlson, my cousin. I met him only once at a Carlson reunion in Antigo, Wisc. Having lived in PEI, Canada myself, we occasionally communicated. He will be missed but never forgotten.
I had the privilege of getting to know Peter in the late 1990s when I volunteered at Chalmers Church on the parish council for a while. I remember him as a truly lovely gentleman with a kind soul and welcoming personality. He was a memorable man and his impact locally was obviously profound. My condolences on your loss.
Dear Mary and Family, We are indeed saddened by the news of Peter's passing and send our very best wishes and sympathy to you all. Notwithstanding having left Kinston in 2005, our 24 years there at Chalmers include fond memories of happy times with the Carlson family and the contributions of Peter and Mary to the life and work of the Congregation, for which we give thanks.
I am so sorry for your loss. Peter helped me in many ways throughout my career, sharing his knowledge and life philosophy readily. He shaped the way I saw my job and life. Mary my heart is with you and my condolences to all who loved him
