I would like to offer my condolences to the entire Davis family. I worked with Bill and James Reid's for over three decades and throughout those many years I knew Bill to be forthright in his beliefs and opinions. One always knew him to be reliable and as one to lend a hand when needed. He enjoyed bringing in new recipes for us all to try and of course, we were always willing to be the recipients of his latest attempts at baking something from a new recipe book. Once again, my sincerest condolences. Rest in Peace. Dennis Edwards

I am so deeply saddened about losing my friend. We chatted very often about cooking, both sweet and savoury. He was preparing for a Christmas luncheon and had his appetizer cookbook out for over a month. He even talked about changing the menu for a Spring luncheon since COVID changed the Christmas lunch. He never left the conversation without a joke or two, always left me with a good laugh. I miss him and his kindness towards me Will think of you often Kathryn

Dear Bill: may you rest in peace. I worked with Bill for almost 20 years at the funeral home. We enjoyed working together and chatting about everything, especially menus and food in general. He would always make me hungry when he told me what delicious meal he had prepared that evening for supper. Bill was a tease and had a great sense of humour. My deepest sympathy to his family. My condolences to the family. Bill and I attended humber college funeral services program together. I haven't seen him in a long time but we did speak to each other a couple of years ago. We were planning on getting together, but Covid restricted the opportunity. I currently work at the Toll Funeral home in Brantford. I see that there will be some celebration to take place there. May he rest in peace.

Please allow me to extend my deepest condolences to the family of Bill Davis on his passing. For a time, I was an assistant to Bill, and others, in the Funeral Service Profession. It was a pleasure to work with him. I have taken the values of service, professionalism and dedication that Bill exemplified with me throughout my working life. I will also always appreciate his good humour. May he rest in peace. Yours very sincerely, David Mathers
