Obituary of David Samuel Lambert

David Samuel Lambert, 64, returned to his heavenly home on October 25, 2020, after a long illness and a broken heart due to his beloved wife Carolann taking her final journey home to the Lord just 36 days prior.David's devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.On April 30, 1977, David married his best friend Carolann Smart. Their love and faith in God blessed them with two sons, Jason (Adrienne) and Brian (Erica) and four beautiful grandchildren Autumn, Canaan, Brielle and Danica.David is survived and will be fondly remembered by his siblings Teresa(Bob), Doris(Andrew), Arthur(Marie), Harry(Bonnie), Guy(Colleen) and Rosemary. Nieces Danielle, Courtney, Shannon, Ashley and Nephews Kenny and Corey.David always knew how to light up a room or a telephone call with his sense of humour, always having a smart comment to make you think or laugh. The times when David had something to say from the Lord, he loved sharing the message and it always gave him great joy. He was deep in his faith and it shone through day in and day out. David always said, “The Lord doesn’t give us more than we can handle. I may suffer today but maybe tomorrow will be better.” This was always said with a smile, a grin and then of course a laugh, while throwing his hands up in the air!He will be deeply missed by many people who’ve had the pleasure of knowing him, especially his close friends Mark and Wendy along with all his paltalk friends.David has been cremated as per his wishes and will be buried at Cataraqui Cemetery where a private family service will take place due to COVID.
