As I attended QDC's retirees breakfast this morning and learned of Steve's passing, those of us in attendance shared some special memories about Steve, a man who always had a smile on his face and enjoyed sharing a joke or two. Steve enjoyed the bi-monthly breakfasts, keeping in touch with former colleagues and keeping up with the gossip. My children will remember him scaring them whenever they visited Aunt Wanda. On behalf of all the staff at Quinte Detention Centre, our deepest sympathies are extended to Steves family. He will be dearly missed. Sincerely, Carol French
