Obituary of Eddison Roy Wagar

Mr. Eddison Roy Wagar of Kingston Ontario died peacefully at the age of 80 on June 30, 2014 at Trillium Ridge Care Home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on November 5, 1933 in California, Ontario near Jones Falls to Olive and Marville Wagar. Eddison was an Army Veteran in the 4th Canadian Guard and served in the Korean War. He worked most of his life as a Construction Superintendent and a Home Builder. He was the proud father of Kathryn Da Silva (nee Wagar), wife of Fernando Da Silva, and Kelly Hamil, husband of April Winter and the late Wade Wagar. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Taylor, Christopher, Jack, Brea-ann, Matthew and Scott. He was former husband to Nancy-Jean Wagar. Older brother of Marie and Orvice Wagar. Dear nephew of Florence Schamehorn. Eddison is pre-deceased by his brother Ivin Wagar and sister Greta Wagar. His strength and love will be truly missed. A graveside service will take place at Cataraqui Cemetery. If you so desire, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
