Obituary of Jack Thomas Bovey

Passed away peacefully on February 6, 2019 at Providence Manor at the age of 71. Son of the late Edmund and Bette Bovey. Proud father of Sherri (Tim) Gray and Kevin (Suzanne) Bovey and loved grandfather of Wyatt, Jared, Jack and Paige. Jack leaves behind his twin sister Jill (Dale) Langevin, his sister Janet (David) Taylor, and his brother John (the late Diane) Bovey along with many nieces and nephews.Jack will be sadly missed by his many friends at Providence Manor as well as the many compassionate, caring staff who knew just how to make Jack a part of their extended family, by his loyal Queen’s University visitors, his St. Paul’s Church friends and parishioners, and we give special thanks to St. Mary’s Rehab, KGH and Hotel Dieu staff, and to the Wellness Centre (Blazers Therapy) at Providence Manor for his ongoing care.Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held at a later date at Cataraqui Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be directed to St. Paul's Anglican Church (Queen St, Kingston) in honour of the E.T Bovey Building Fund, to Providence Manor (275 Sydenham St) or to a charity of your choice.
