Obituary of Celine Garneau

Garneau, Celine - Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Providence Care Hospital on September 10, 2017 in her 64th year. Celine was predeceased by her parents Jean and Pauline Garneau. Celine was the beloved wife of Alec Murray and the loving mother of Stefanie Dumas and Chantale Dumas both of Ottawa, and Kathleen Dumas (Adelina) of Kingston. She will be dearly missed by grandchildren Zé, Clementine and Rémy. She is survived by her sisters Maryse Stewart (Wayne) of Brandon, MB and Josette Garneau of Hamilton, ON. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Chris Stewart, Darren Stewart (Janaya and stepdaughter Jayden), Tracy Seniuk (Neil and daughter Charlotte), and Craig Seniuk. Celine was a retired teacher with the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board from Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Celine's Life at 431 Coronation Blvd., Kingston on Wed. Sept 20 starting at 3 o'clock. If raining, it will be at Bayridge S.S. For those who wish, donations in Celine’s memory may be made to UHKF and the Palliative Care Unit at Providence Care Hospital. A special thanks to all the staff and Drs at The Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario, Kidd 9 and the Palliative Care unit at Providence Care Hospital.
