Obituary of Ruth Windover

It is with deepest regret and profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother, Nanny and Friend Ruth Elizabeth Windover on Thursday, December 20, 2018, she was out doing what she loved, shopping!She is survived by her children: Peggy, Patsy, Margaret, Edith, Iva, Paul and their spouses, 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her husband John Albert Windover and her sons Carmen, Albert and Eddie.She died of a massive heart attack and was rushed to Kingston General Hospital. The family is thankful for the excellent care she received, we know they did everything they could.A graveside service will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00pm. For those attending please meet at the office for 12:45pm (927 Purdy’s Mill Road). Following the interment the family invites you to join with them at Kingston Gospel Temple (2295 Princess Street) for a luncheon.At the request of the family please no flowers and as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Ruth's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We will miss you dearly mom but are comforted knowing you are with Carmen and out of harm’s way. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
