Obituary of Larry John Samuel Hooper
Surrounded by the love of his family, Larry passed away at KGH after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Larry was stubborn strength; pain was a constant companion for most of his life, but he remained optimistic. Even during the darkest of times; throughout this journey, he always found a way to crack a smile or tell a joke to lighten the mood.Larry is predeceased by his parents Samuel Mayo and Nora Bernice (nee Heppell) Hooper. He is survived by his wife Geri (nee LeBlanc). He loved and was very proud of his wonderful children, Dan (Laurie) and Denise (John) and was the beloved Papa to Sierra, Rhianna, Lauren and Teagan. Larry is also survived by his brother Bob (Sharon) and sisters Sue (Tom) and Nancy (Bruce), sister-in-law Dianne (Tom), brothers-in-law Rejean and Richard (Joanne) LeBlanc, nephews Robert, Thomas, Steven, Mitchel, Eric, Joey and nieces Kathy, Melissa and Samantha. To big brother Bob and sister-in-law Sharon for their caring visits and support, to little sister Nancy for her devotion, and all of his family who travelled to visit him and took part in this grueling journey with us, we thank you sincerely.Larry cherished all of his family.
