Obituary of Reginald Edward Stevenson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Reg Stevenson at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (CCU) on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the age of 61 with family by his side. Loving husband and soulmate of 39 years, to Laurie (née Holsgrove). Cherished father and best friend to Reg Jr. (Melanie) Stevenson. Adored Grandpa to Adam and Ryan Stevenson. Son to Howard (predeceased) and Velma Stevenson. Brother to Doug and Paul Stevenson. Son-in-law to Walter Sr. (predeceased) and Isabel Holsgrove. Brother-in-law to Sherry (Al) Pitts and Walter Jr. (Jennifer) Holsgrove. Uncle to Tania (Scott) Taylor, Sarah (Tim) Garrah, Megan Pitts, Andrew and Luke Stevenson, Brittany and Camron Holsgrove. Great Uncle to Ethan and Wiley Taylor and Chloe Garrah. Employed with Brown’s Fine Food Services, Reg was Director of Equipment Services. Dedicating 43 years of his life to the food service industry. Special thanks to all those who assisted with Reg's care. If you so desire, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family.
