Obituary of Susan Elaine Rooks

Susan passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the age of 63. Loving partner of 15 years to Dwayne McFie. Cherished mother of Crystal Rooks and Terri Almeida (Paul). Dear step-mother of Tyler (Fiona) and Michael. Proud grandma of Brianna, Curtis, Ethan and Chayse. Beloved daughter of Gerry Ellis (Beverly) and the late Shirley Ellis (nee Robinson). She will be missed by her sisters, Gloria (Pierre), Pam (Greg), Jo Anne (Todd); her brothers, Ben and Jerry; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Susan’s Life will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION (734 Montreal St., Kingston) from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Susan’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to CATARAQUI CEMETERY AND FUNERAL SERVICES.
