Obituary of Brian John Cherry

With sadness, the family of Brian Cherry announce his passing after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the age of 55.Brian was the very proud father of Taylor Cherry. Proud Uncle of Brianna, Devon and Owen Robb.He will be greatly missed by his dad Richard "Dick" Cherry, big brother Steven (Tina Fasano), adoring sister Cristy Robb (Patrick), Uncles: Don Cherry, John Dunbar, and Harold Hoare, his cousins and his friends. He is now reunited with his mom Lillian Cherry, Grandparents, Aunts: Rose Cherry, Julia Hoare, June Dunbar, Uncle Don Lucas and cousin Darcy Lucas.A private family memorial service has taken place. Rather than monetary donations, Brian’s family asks that you please love your family, and "pay-it-forward" with an act of kindness.The Cherry Family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation and thanks for the amazing care and support that he received, over the past year, to: the Belleville General Hospital staff including: Dr. Liu, Dr. Negar Chooback, the Oncology team, Sills 3 staff and the acute stroke unit/5th floor staff, as well as the KGH oncology staff.
